Start of evaluation in action "BEST MEADOW OF GORIČKO"

Goričko Nature park Public Institute together with Chamber for Agriculture and Forestry of Slovenia- Institute Murska Sobota continues with action "Best meadow of Goričko". This year 11 meadow owners participate in the action. In June first evaluation took place and the results were excilent. Biodiveristy has increased in comparison with previous years and the owners accept our advices about meadows management. 

The main reason for action »Best meadow« is to promote extensive use of meadows and their importance for humans animals and plants. With this action we wish to encourage meadow owners to use meadows in nature friendly ways in accordance with good agricultural practice. This year this action is a part of project Goričko meadows.
