Children learn about life in Goričko meadows

In early days of June within the project Effective management with extensive meadows in area Natura 2000 Goričko, which is co-financed by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism (EEA Grants), Nature Park Goričko Public Institute carried out several Natural Science Days for children in kindergartens and primary schools in Goričko area.  Biodiversity and the importance of meadows was represented in a playful way. More than 80 kids were involved in discovering characteristic plants, butterflies and grassland birds. In the autumn we wish to carry out similar topics in other primary schools in Goričko area.
